<p>My older brother was rejected by UCLA when he applied as a BIO major (impacted). He had a 3.9ish (higher than .05 but less than .09), with great EC’s, military experience (field medic), several letters of recommendations from his prof’s, good personal statement, several internships, and many academic awards.</p>
<p>The reason he was most likely rejected was due to the fact that he had not completed organic chemistry prior to transfer.</p>
