UCLA Likely letter..?

Sounds good-- looks like we stand a chance. Anyone hear anything from Berkeley?

Haha! Got the letter!

Hoping for the best…

Wait is this an email or a letter? lol

I got it too!

Email, sorry for any confusion

i got the exact letter last year, and my friends who also got this letter were also in. so i would say thats a good news, so congraz!

got the email last year and i got in. congrats!

kinda spoiled the surprise of getting the letter in the mail…

anyone get this letter and not get in?

@Andrew: No one that I know of. If you look closely, you’ll see that the open house is after UCLA acceptances are out, which is kind of a giveaway.

Congrats everyone!

I got that letter as well! I hope this is an indication of something good!
:O

I’m an international student, BTW.

For those wondering about stats:
SAT I: 2240
SAT II: 800 math II, 800 physics
EC’s: Quite original
Awards: Nothing major

congrats
i got that letter last year too

My son received the same email. It sounds promising!

lol I think it’s because, if you got one, you’d want to post here. You wouldn’t exactly be motivated to come to this thread and post “I didn’t get it” when everyone else is. It may seem like a lot but that’s just because those that didn’t get it (yet?) aren’t really mentioning it. I didn’t get it either but it’s all good. I have I think a weighted 4.3 UC GPA and a 2130 in one sitting on the SAT, not the best community service amount but I’m not too concerned about it. We’ll all see in a few weeks lol

And also, because most don’t check the boards regularly, and so those who didn’t receive the letter wouldn’t come here, whereas those who did receive it would come here to find out if it means anything.

I’ve received this letter, too…And my SAT is just 1940…

man budget cut is making them sending letters out in email form now? i had an actual letter 2 years ago… i was very very skeptical about it but i ended up getting in…

to above poster: keep in mind that HSSEAS weigh math and science more than language, so if you had a very high math score that would explain it…

Yay! I got one too! I was worried my relatively low (to engineering applicants) SAT Math II score of 680 would drag me down, but looks like I might make it!

i also got the email. I m also an international student

KingCCM, with 680 Math II, what do you think made you stand out?
Carreshwell, where are you from (international student)?
Joey Li, what was your Math II, or what do you think made you stand out?

I got it too : )
I am an international student.
