UCLA made a mistake. How should I appeal?

So I called UCLA yesterday asking them the reasons for my rejection despite my good GPA (3.9 Econ major) and good ECs. Whoever talked to me said that one of my prerequisite courses wasn't accepted as such, and she told me to appeal because (believe it or not) assist.org said, and still says, that it actually is accepted. But even if I do appeal, they could still find other reasons to reject me. So besides talking about that, should I also mention other ECs that I left out of my app to improve my chances? Or should I just keep it on that previous matter?

You should mention both, but focus on the mistake and why YOU are a really good fit for UCLA. Appeals involving mistakes have a pretty high chance of being approved.

good luck. that really sucks. at least they have a really good reason to accept you and your appeal. still sorry you did not get a regular acceptance because it sounds like you should have.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I get into Cal and all the bureaucracy associated with appealing won’t be necessary.
