ucla major change appeal?

I am wanting to change my major but I was rejected already. Is it possible to appeal solely based on a major change?

Hmmmm i was wondering the same thing

yes, specially if you have pre-reqs done for the other major. you should try.

[FAQ - Denied Transfer Students - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/faq/TR_Not_Adm.htm)

According to that site no, there is very little chance that your appeal will go through. UCLA’s policy is to review every applicant only once for only one major, so its highly unlikely they will give you a mulligan. Also (sounds like a broken record) you need to present new evidence than was previously put in your application.
Then again, nobody can stop you from trying.

Womp Womp Womp :/

What if you were not admitted due to just 1 prereq under business economics, and you want to appeal for economics whose prereqs you have met and whose acceptance rate is slightly higher than business economics?..those two majors are very, very similar…does them being similar have any weight maybe in terms of an appeal?
