UCLA makes me happy

We all know CCC get priority, but seeing this still makes me happy:

"We give highest priority to students transferring from California Community Colleges or other University of California campuses." -from the UCLA TAG

(I'm from UCSD).

Who said second was bad? It's practically first. :P

(I'm trying to convince myself I have a chance).

UCLA doesnt have a TAG, i think you mean TAP.

UC campuses dont get TAP; only community colleges. meaning, the priority still goes to TAP-certified CCC students, then regular CCCs, then UC’s.

sorry to burst your bubble.

No i mean TAG Transfer Admission Guide on ucla’s site. Sorry to burst your bubble.

oic, well in that case, good luck? if u want to go to UCLA so much, why dont u go to a cc instead of staying at UCSD?

because i’m graduating next year. but if i don’t get in it’s fine, i’ll grad in one more year at ucsd.

i just want better job prospects. originally ucsd was fine because i thought i was going to grad school, but it turns out i need work experience before i can get my masters for what i want to do.

are you applying as a senior level transfer?

no. but that’s where ap credits that don’t count toward your transfer grade level but count for graduation credits come in.

and community college classes done in high school.

28 units from ap and 12 from ccc. so 40 total. 5 short of a year.
