UCLA Mens Soccer

I have a question regarding Mens Soccer at UCLA so could someone please help me out here. From what I have discovered on the UCLA website there seem to be no trials for the soccer (or perhaps any sports) team.
Could a current UCLA student just shed some light on this because I really want to try out for the team as I believe I am good enough but I have ZERO credentials to back me up. Simply because I never played for an established club, was injured for my senior years and so on just never tried out for my school team because I had much more fun playing with friends outside school. Therefore the only way I can show my ability is through a trial once I am at UCLA. Could anyone find out?

Thanks.

the hard thing is most of the players are recruits and they tend to recruit from your highschool performance... i say email or talk to the coaches see if there is a tryout for walk-ons...

When I went on the tour they said there were club soccer tryouts but I don't know about the division I team.

club soccer is not NCAA DI team, there are plenty of club sports on campus that compete against clubs from other schools but the DI team is the one that competes at NCAA level.
for the OP, did you come to any of the games of the DI team this year? You can always go talk to the coach next time you come to UCLA I think soccer have spring practice.

The only way I could think of would be to email the coach? You'd have to be pretty convincing though for him to even give you a look. They recruit from across the country, why would he take a look at you when you admit you have zero credentials and have never played for an established club?
