I plan to apply as a nursing major as it is my dream and goal in life to become a nurse and help others! I also have gotten only A’s in classes that I took at my local community college which ranked #1 in the nation!

These are all reach schools for almost anyone applying to their nursing programs. If you get your test scores up, I think you’d definitely have a chance at one of these schools. I know for UCLA and UCI, nursing applicants have to submit a supplemental application which includes an additional essay. I’m not sure if they use the same prompts every year, but I would focus on that A LOT because I think that was one of my main strengths. Good luck! :slight_smile:

@santagirl Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate hearing first hand from a UCI nursing students. By the way congratulations on getting in! I hope to get my scores up, and I am currently in the process of drafting my essays! Thanks again for the advice, and good luck in college! (:
