The thing about Westwood… If you want to find an cheap(er) apartment, you have to go there yourself and look around. There’s a bunch of standalone apartments that have signs to call and all that good stuff. The only ones you’ll find online are the ‘mainstream’ (and more expensive) apartments that are funded by groups that manage more than one building.

Oh, and you can always check classifieds. I actually found my Westwood apartment last year via the Facebook marketplace app (go figure). You can check [Uloop - UCLA Classifieds - Jobs, Apartments, Textbooks, Carpools, Roommates, Tickets, Furniture, Scholarships, Travel](Resource Hub for UCLA Students | Uloop) too. Helps a lot.

Haha yeah. I think the best way is looking for a room/roommate instead of renting out a new place, even if it’s with friends. They can become your worst enemies during the process. Hahaha.

Honestly though, there will be the most opportunities (to find roommates) during summer session III. Right now, everyone is probably just looking for subletters during the summer.
