of course this has been asked before. but are the ONLY people who are able to access myUCLA folks who messed with their summer session? thanks.

Yeea some ppl stated they were able to log in only after messing w summer stuff.

^^ i want to know that too, I haven’t messed with summer and I can’t log into my ucla.

@uckitty
can you login at myUCLA? maybe you did not mess with the summer junk but it just appears. just curious. now that i realize it is only thursday and not friday. blink blink

the only people who can access myUCLA are those who messed with summer stuff, with kitty being the only exception that I’ve ever encountered after sifting through 4 years of UCLA threads.

mine is just blank white bar.

@justine
thank you so much. that definitely answers my question. nice of you to remind me. didn’t want to sift through all those posts! great that you did that. call it silly, but this is fun sleuthing.

i wonder how common it is for students to be accepted to UCLA and then rejected to UCB, or vis-versa?

@north it is! I’m enjoying it ;)

and as for UCLA-then-Cal, I wouldn’t say that it is SO common that everyone should expect it, but it’s common enough for there to be a sprinkling of kids each year who are accepted to one and not the other

applying as a sociology major for fall 2012!! good luck to everyone :)

@justine
they would be fools if they did not admit you, and me too of course. hahahahah. do you see a breakdown of your financial aid award on the FAO portion of ursa? i can just see documents uploaded and what not. with my total need listed, etc. the docs were uploaded yesterday (april 18th). but i think that most applicants get that far. they might be tracking how many students have financial aid need, and basing some of their decisions on those aspects of our files as well.

Tomorrow is the day! I wish I didn’t have to go into work, but with my Starbucks habit and the expensive ass gas, I wouldn’t be able to survive. Ugh.

@iMunster!
dude. tomorrow is the day. knock off the starbucks dude, make coffee at home. haha. those javas are expensive. i had to dust off my old diesel car—that gasolina is a joke. don’t start drinking that (gas) then you will really go broke.

@north, eeep, I hope so! :)))) as for you, it certainly sounds like you’re in. I can’t see my finaid documents because I didn’t submit a FAFSA (thanks a lot, mom! haha)

the running logic is that they wouldn’t process your finaid and bother providing a package estimate if you were just going to be rejected. so far, we’ve only seen 2 or 3 kids in 4 years who got financial aid and wound up rejected, and it turned out to be the fault of the students themselves in some of those cases (they didn’t have enough units or they messed up their FAFSA somehow)

hmmm.

justine with the 3 point jumper shot.

i hope such is true…

@justine
well, they just list my “need” no breakdown of the estimate like some posters. i mean, nothing on the FAO link except it shows the year, etc… more than it used to anyway. don’t think the “need” portion and that breakdown is very pivotal, but if they listed an award, that would mean more. some kids seem to have an actual award breakdown. but their document tracking upload dates are a week earlier than mine. blah blah. haha

@northbeach

Their green tea lattes are so good. My goodness.

I chugged up $50 for gas last night and my tank still isn’t full.

SO WHERE IS EVERYONE FROM? You guys live close to UCLA?

Eeee! Tomorrow! I was supposed to work until 9 tomorrow but since its been slow they gave me the day off UCLA is my top choice.
@iMunster I’m in OC

@iMunster
can you run your car on green tea lattes too? is that what the prius uses? oh yeah, the gas thing is retardo. i am in northern cal, in sausalito today. that reminds me, i need to check my mail box to find out if i received that ridiculous UCB discount flyer. haha. something else to obsess about.

What time exactly will UCLA be releasing admissions?
Midnight?
Noon?
Rolling, thruout the day?
or in the evening, like they did with Frosh applicants?
