UCLA Official Countdown

Everyone’s pending I believe. And why is your CCs listed as the school of attendance? Did you guys add your CCC on your 12-13 FAFSA application? Mine shows UCSB since it was the 1st school I listed on my application back in January

What are u counting down for? Hasn’t class of 2016 already been announced? Or are u grad school applicants?

^ @abcd transfer students…

OH! Good luck to you all!

@Abcd3f3: lmao! I will take all the luck I can get.

postsecret what is your stats and where do you live

@Philosoup: 3.89, but applying for one of the most impacted majors → communications. Missing 1 prereq.

I’ll go and cry in my corner now. 8)

are pre reqs really that significant for ucla? It’s just 1 class…good luck though you still have a very high GPA

^^^ I think it is, especially for UCLA as so many students apply, so they differentiate and sort through applications by checking to see who has prereqs done. It also gives them an idea of how a student will do, and how quickly they will be able to graduate. I believe it’s crucial for impacted majors (I think mine is the 1st/2nd most impacted).

Thank you! Good luck to you as well. My hair is graying over here in anxiety, lol. What is your stats/major? Philosophy? That’s listed as my alternate major! (TAP) :)

Yeah it is. My GPA is a 3.48 and I have all of my pre-reqs done. Not sure of my chances though. Yeah I think you’ll get in. My brother was a comm major at UCLA and he got in with a 3.74 GPA with 2 missing pre-reqs 2 yrs ago. Did you do any of the pre-reqs for philosophy? I’m sure you can get in if u somehow don’t get into comm since philosophy isnt really impacted

I was not nervous at all for acceptances till today haha. I am a GCC student, B.A. Anthro major. 4.0 GPA and all my IGETC and Prereqs are completed. I applied for Regents Scholarship as well. Good luck to everyone!

3.4 jewish studies(tremendous upward trend, no f’s or d’s, only couple C’s but not for GE) > non trad pre-med

not tripping on outcome. gunning for ucsd/uci

Look at my situation only have done 2 pre reqs!!! Of course none others are offered but still, I’m sure that’s a ding competitively :(

I’m sooo terrified for Friday! It’ll be nice not to wait any longer, hopefully it’s not in batch oh that would be terrrrrrible

@chelz

I did list only the 4 UCs I applied to, but I’m not too sure why my cc is showing up. I was told its fine since you can change the school of attendance after the cal grant gets approved. Hope it’s true.

Friends got their decisions. How’d you guys do?

trolololol that was mean I am sorry

@pavin I’m pretty sure you aren’t held accountable for not having pre-reqs done if your school doesn’t offer them. Anyways, good luck

Do you guys know how UCLA will release the admission decisions? I am only sure that UCB gonna post it online. But how about UCLA? I am so nervous about this Friday…

@vinniexinyu: What do you mean “how [they] will release the admission decisions?” They’ll be posted online here[/url”>https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Decision/Letter.aspx]here and I’m sure you’ll receive a nice packet in the mail as well, what’s the confusion?

hey you guys is a regents scholarship offer a good indicator that you will be accepted?
