UCLA or Emory?

Which school has a better department for philosophy, political science, and economics?
Also, which is more prestigious?

bump/…

More people have heard of UCLA than Emory so I guess that makes it more prestigous as for which is actually a better school I have no idea.

Emory is probably more “convenient” for undergrad due to its smaller size, but UCLA has got more prestige between the two. I will certainly go for UCLA if admitted at both schools.

Some schools have special Philosophy, Politics, and Economics majors that integrate all three. You should find some of those.

Hey Everyone!
Emory has an amazing department for philosophy, but unfortunately falls short in politcal science and economics. If your majoring in philosophy, your best bet is UCLA. Emory is a more prestigious school but the name is looked down upon by the Cambodian race, which can be very difficult in this economy. Hope all is well. UCLA is top ranked.

If you want a social life, go to UCLA. Sports Illustrated ranked it #1 in the country for best combined athletic, academic and social life a few years ago. Check out this article, it really captures the spirit and essence of the school:
