<p>To me, NYU is a little more well-regarded. Despite there being no real large difference between quality.</p>

<p>do you want to go to a school that actually has school spirit? If so, then better go to ucla. Better reputation, much better college of arts & sciences. The only reason to go to NYU would be for Stern.</p>
<p>I think NYU is easier to get into than UCLA. Don't know which one is better though.</p>
<p>Well actually I think both have pro's and cons...I like the UCLA campus more...but don't like their dorms as much etc. One thing I am worried about is whether the different in in undergraduate experience between a public school and private school is signficant? I'm out of state so they'd be pretty much the same price for me, but will there really be like 500 people classes all taught by TA's in UCLa vs. a 20 people class with a professor in NYU or will the disparity not be that great.</p>
