Hey guys!
I'm going to be a pre-biz econ major and I can't decide if I should go to Berkeley or LA. I want to go into i-banking in the future which I know is incredibly competitive. Which school do you think will have the better program? How competitive is the prog at UCLA? I heard it's pretty cutthroat. And at Cal? I would really appreciate opinions that are un-biased as possible.. i know its somewhat of an oxymoron. Thanks!

ironic that you use the term cutthroat.

both schools have great programs; please consider other factors.

haha why is it ironic?

Go to Berkeley, you’ll hate it.

Berkeley is more well-loved by top employers if we’re talking about banking and finance, including jobs like Investment Banking, management consulting, Hedge fund management, etc…

we actually had a throat slashing on campus this year, hence the irony

^ oh yeah! I forgot about that, but it was in a chem lab so OP should only be worried if he was pre-med.

i know haha, it was just ironic that he used it to describe competition

I heard BizEcon at UCLA wasn’t all that great, correct me if I’m wrong.
