<p>Hi all, well I got admitted into UCSD for fall 2012 for math &econ joint major, and i'm waiting to hear from UCLA for math/econ major. I'm a transfer student with perfect GPA and everything.. and I can't decide where do I wanna go UCSD or UCLA? What do you guys think? What's a better choice for my major? P.S. after BS I'm planning to go for my masters and maybe PhD in probably math, not so much econ. Thanks for all the answers =)</p>

Generally, UCSD and Ucla are both prestigious colleges and have a great math/econ program.Yet, consider you have the ability and knowledge, UCLA would be better, since its offers a better future career whether you want to continue your study or get a job.
Though you should also consider the culture and characteristics of the schools, make sure it is suitable for you.</p>
<p>Both have really good econ and math top 20 in the nation i believe? But i guess you have to visit and find which one is right for you. pacific beach setting vs. West la setting.</p>
