UCLA or UT Austin (McCombs) ???

<p>Hi I am a CCC transfer and want to major in business. Received offers from UCLA (pre business econ) and UT Austin business school. It is really hard for me to decide as I know UCLA is more well known while mccombs ranks #6 in the country. I would be very much appreciated if you could give me some advise as this is a dilemma for me. Thanks!!</p>

<p>I think most people in a UC transfer forum, including myself, would tell you to go to UCLA. Most people here are probably unfamiliar with how good a school UT Austin is compared to the UCs in general. </p>

<p>What’s the estimated cost of living for both schools? I lived in Texas for 6 years. It’s pretty awful. Austin isn’t too bad though. </p>

<p>IMO, go to UCLA. Better weather, location, and likely less money. </p>
