UCLA Orientation Check-in Time

haha thanks Sophee! TSP is the Transfer Summer Program through AAP… thanks for your response.

i “sorta” filled out my education planner… i only filled out the multiple choice answers. i told this to the ucla rep that called me the other day… and she tried to make me reset it. i didn’t. i hope this isn’t too much of a problem.

I doubt the counselors read those educational planners… they have thousands of students and it would be impractical for them to sit there and read “what do your parents think of your education?” etc etc. It’s prob just for statistical purposes but I dunno for certain… :)

Shawna, I’ve decided to try to sign up for the first session and not 206, after a friend advised me against waiting.

thanks Evan! I am going to try to do that too! My friend from Berk advised this… I dont’ want to risk having to waitlist classes at the beginning…

I don’t mind hanging around doing nothing while the rest of the students are in orientation… We can get started on our readings or check out the fabbbulous gym!!! woo hoo ! I 'm sooo excited.

Bestie is signing up for 206.

Her parents and she called numerous times and they told her she would be okay. Plus the twelve hour wait doesn’t sound too exciting for her, haha.

Whoa… what wait are you ladies talking about ?

Yunie!
She isn’t afraid that the classes will be full? Are we allowed to sign up for the earliest Orientation? hmmmm

Hence why she and her parents called them millions of times, they told her she would be fine. We have a bunch of friends there and THEY said that she would be fine. Seriously, her parents brought them to their house just so that they could tell them that, haha.

She has the catalog and has already decided her classes, and she called and told them, and they told her she should be alright with her choices, so she’s not worried.

Plus her parents are on vacation for a month so they’re all coming back to the motherland with me…>___________<;;; xD.

OH! I see, you’re talking about while the other TSP kids are in orientation- yeah- we can take the day off! BEACH? GYM? The possibilities are endless!

Yunie- Jane has decided! So spill the beans! Are you Bruinie? Or Yunie the Golden Bear?

Now I’m reluctant to choose the first date or 206. I was going to go for a run, but now this is going to be bothering me!

^ Jane did? :O

^
Yes she did! I read it! Hahaha.

I will reveal it tomorrow Evan! <3 Patience!

Yes, it’s been bothering her A LOT. Poor unnie (bestie) hasn’t been able to sleep well, very stressed out (yes, hardcore Asian, LOL). So we called Admissions over and over…and over…and over…even found out a friend from HS now works there and she told her with those classes, she should be fine! Everyone needs to have backups anyways, she (the friend) was actually surprised that she had everything planned out, keke.

Yeah. I’m not sure if she’s said where she’s headed, but she has SIR’ed. :|

What’s your friends’ major?

where exactly do we sign up for orientation?

^

I don’t like that face. :expressionless:

Her major is Psychology.

Evan! Yes westwood village! man I really don’t know much about LA but this is going to be the perfect day to find out! I don’t want to take my chances of waiting to register for classes.

Yunie! wht classes is she thinking of besides 100A? I am debating psych 127, a Chem class or poli sci class… hmmm

and is there a list of classes anywhere so we can plan out what we want to take that first quarter, thanks

Evan are you going to join the running club at UCLA? I’m thinking about it!

I am thinking about the soonest orientation or the 206. I prob wont decide until 2:59…

Dc- I don’t think Fall 2010 sched has been posted yet. :/
