<p>Did you know Berkeley students are pronouncing their university name wrong? Or at least the namesake.</p>
<p>The person Berkeley was named after pronounced his name Bark-lee, not the present-day Berkeley.</p>

<p>Actually, many UCLA students don't know their history either...such as who Josiah Royce was.</p>
<p>The whole "inferiority complex" idea is a nice way to shut down the argument and belittle the opponent. </p>
<p>The whole Cal vs. UCLA is just simple friendly rivalry. Certainly both maintain a prestige and both provide a decent education.</p>
