UCLA postcard

A UCLA rep called me today and asked me to apply for the transfer scholarship. I received a postcard regarding this scholarship a few weeks ago. Then, I asked her if they call everyone, or only selected people and she replied that she didn't know for transfers, but that only admitted undergraduates received the postcard.

Did all the transfers who applied to UCLA get this postcard and a call?

Nope! Congrats!

That is too funny. I got the same postcard last week too. And I just got the same phone call this evening. I was going to come in here and post the same question. It's a big tease! Arghhhh!

Then again, I can't believe they would call ALL xfer students would they? Hmm...I dare not hope.

i think it's for only 4.0 students

i recieved the same thing last year as a freshman applicant to UCB and i was rejected...

and I didn't get it though I have 4.0

I received a postcard and a phone call. I have 3.73. I think the minimum GPA for the scholarship is a 3.75, so I don't qualify.

I wish I got a postcard or a phone call, or a text message or even a wrong number from ucla, lol. what did the postcard say?

I got the postcard, the email, and I just got the phone call today. All three just basically told me about the Community College Transfer Scholarship. I don't think it has anything to do with being admitted tho.

i didnt get any call =( im sad now...

Got the call and email too. I am 4.0 but I dont think this scholarship has anything to do with either 4.0 or being admitted.

i have 3.9 and didn't get any calls or a post card or even an email. :(

Damn...I have 3.91...almost all classes done...but I am not gonna get any scholarships cuz im not a citizen and i don't have a green card

i dont receive it...

any biological sciences major recieved a call/post card...i'm concern cuz i didn't get one...

I got the post card and the call too, but I agree that it is a HUGE tease and it probably doesn't mean anything.
