UCLA, pre-med first-year fall '09 course schedule

I have the same question as kels…I’m wondering if I should take 3A or 31A for math. I’m a chemistry major doing pre-med, so I’m guessing I would take 31A? Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m also wondering about chemistry. I think I’m supposed to be taking 20A instead of 14A because I am a chemistry major, but I don’t know.

Edit: Ok, think I got it.

yes, you must take the 20 series for chem, and you must take the 30 series for math. i think you can negotiate the physics though (ie taking 6 series instead of 1)…chem and math are for sure, though.

ask aa6590.

Thank you.

ohhh alright thanks jinobi!

if you wanna be a chem major, declare biochem first, finish the physics 6 series and then request to change. ull avoid the 1 series. connie (undergrad chem advisor) herself told me you can do this.

you must still take chem 20/30 and math 31 series. also, for math you must finish up to 33b (whole series as engineers do)

Is the 1 series really that bad?

harder than 6 series…

Alright thanks for advice.
