ucla profs are sooo bad, that ucla's alumni association made website to bash them

so sad...

<a href="http://www.uclaprofs.com%5B/url%5D">www.uclaprofs.com</a></p>

that would be website launched by ucla alums to bash on generally bad profs for no real reason other than their ideas are 'too radical'. the site asks for donations. shouldnt an alumni association be asking for donations to help the school rather than bash its profs? are they really that bad? well if they were as bad as uci profs, than they probably are. what a great effort by the ucla alumni association to help its alma mater. sad....can have my tax dollars back, arnold?

so next time you think you have a bad prf, shut up and deal with it. i ve endured much worse.

You need to think twice about this.

I doubt this is the official alumni association. In fact this probably part of a right-wing group's national effort to hire student spies to report on allegedly radical professors. The right wing is not content to control the white house, congress, the courts, TV, newspapers, and radio, they want to control what you think, and the information you have access to. So from a group of political thinkers who gave you relgious intolerance, torture, and spying on Americans you now have the Bruin Alumni Association.

MrTrojanMan,

That is not the official UCLA Alumni Association. Do your research before you launch into silly anti-UCLA tirades.

ok, the point is that these shennanigins are going on at ucla, not USC or cal or stanford or nyu or georgetown or any of the other more liberal institutes. and this is a pretty organized effort, a bunch of studenst put a lot of thought into this. the donations are even tax deductible according to the site. and probably a lot of money they could of spent on helping to lowering their fees or hiring better faculty. the authors of the articles are ucla alum, i checked on facebook.com. i still want my tax dollars back

The students didn't put the together. They are being funded by outside organizations.

Take a look at this: <a href="http://www.newshounds.us/2006/01/19/students_paid_to_spy_on_instructors.php%5B/url%5D">http://www.newshounds.us/2006/01/19/students_paid_to_spy_on_instructors.php</a></p>

It specifically mentions the Bruin Alumni Association.

There is a vast right wing conspiracy and the so-called alumni association is part of it.

Look--USC-UCLA rivalry can be fun or stupid. This is kind of on the stupid side (not meaning that you are stupid MTM.) Don't doubt that USC could be next.

MrTrojan,

So...the...heck...what? It doesn't mean a thing!

Why don't you tell the idiots who are running the organization that? All they care about is stroking their silly egos...

ok pumpkin, you win. happy?

still want my tax dollars

this idea of "controlling" professors is really demeaning to education, i really can not understand a basis for this idea, i mean politics is one thing but trying to curb education is another, i guess its just random that it started in ucla, i hope it stops there,

Is that the best you can muster? What tax dollars? This is all privately funded!
