Hi guys! So I'm a little uncomfortable posting on here, but I really needed some advice. Keeping it all in has been eating me up :x

I'm currently in my second year at CC and I plan on transferring soon. Hopefully, I'll be accepted into UCLA for psychology (eep! an impacted major). I've already checked ASSIST.org and I'm pretty much done with all prerequisites except one, which I'll be doing next quarter. I also need to complete my language requirement which I'll also be finishing up before I hopefully transfer (yes, I know, I'm a f*** up...). Let's just say, I wasn't the greatest student in high school and failed to complete it.
My GPA is currently a 4.0, no TAP (my school doesn't offer it), member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. What really worries me is that I don't have anything to list under my volunteer experiences or extracurricular activities because most of my time has been consumed with different jobs. I'm going to be volunteering at a local hospital later on in this year, but I don't feel comfortable including it in my application. I've invested all my time into working and school that I haven't had enough time to do anything else :( I'm worried about all the blank spaces.

However, I come from a family with somewhat lower income. It's not drastic to the point where we're in poverty, but to the point where I felt I needed to start earning my own spending money rather than depending completely on my parents. I live under their roof, but I use the money I earn to buy food and such for myself since they're always away working.
I have a strong idea of what I'm going to write for my essay, but that's still up for debate. I have yet to get around to working on it.

My point is, will UCLA care about me not having much experience volunteering and what not? Please let me know what you guys think! I just don't want to get my hopes too high. Thank you so much for taking your time out to read this :)
