I would like to know a couple things about UCLA..I am very excited about going there. But I have a few concerns. Especially about the bathrooms and dorms.

no coed dorm rooms (but coed dorm halls), no coed bathrooms.

don't want any scary stories like the ones i heard from my berkeley friends (random guy who wasnt a student got into the coed bathrooms, got on top of a sink, and started peering down at girls while they were showering)

You're serious? UCB has co-ed dorm bathrooms?

Aye, some (if not all) of the bathrooms are coed. The showers, though, are completely enclosed, so I don't really understand how you could get on top of a sink and peer down into the showers. I'm pretty sure that's just dirty slander against UCB ;-)

I have another question...I've heard of halls or students on the same floor agreeing to make the bathrooms coed. How often does this happen at UCLA?

never seen it happen, although sometimes someone from the opposite sex will use the bathroom cuz they're too lazy to walk across the hall to theirs. i occassionally see girls brushing their teeth in the boys bathroom, and i occassionally hear girls talking while showering in the boys shower stalls.
