UCLA Regents Invitation for Transfers 2014

Didn’t get an email, guess that means that I didn’t get picked, oh well. Congrats to everyone who did!

Got the email, such a surreal feeling…

So is anyone able to log in? I really want to know what the application entails.

My id didn’t work either. I think it’s safe to say no ones is working. Maybe it’ll be up by tomorrow. Now I hope berkeleys come out

I’m also unable to log in, seems like a pretty short time frame to complete the application. Good luck everyone! Hopefully this application thing gets sorted out soon.

Also, congrats to everyone else who got the invitation!!!

Mine didn’t work like everyone I think. Does anyone know what’s the chance (percentage) of getting the scholarship if you are selected to apply? Thanks

So UCLA’s Regents invitation is not like Berkeley’s in that it’s not a guarantee for admissions?

So basically one week to get recommendation letters (after spring break)? Do you guys think it matters to get one from counselor over teacher?

Congrats to all who’ve received Regents’s scholarship invitations!

No it doesn’t guarantee admissions :frowning:

I don’t think if should matter whether you get it from a counselor or a teacher (or at least I hope not). I’m getting mine from my counselor.

4.0 CCC student here, no invite. bummer.

I’m in the same boat man, 4.0 CCC and no invite, guess my personal statement didn’t catch their attention

That’s so weird that ucla rejects regents qualified applicants. I’m already telling people I’m basically in, if I get denied I’ll just say that UCSD was a better fit for me haha

@compsciUCtrnsfr Same here, I guess. Dang, this sucks. I was expecting to get the invite.

Just got the email a short while ago. This is soooo exciting and honestly somewhat unexpected, even if I do have a 4.0 GPA.

I want to see the prompt! @VivaLaVida14

Do you think it’s the same prompt from previous years?

@nichtszumachen Sorry, I was so excited I had not yet tried to access the link they provided. No luck with my ID either. Maybe tomorrow?

I got one!!
GPA 3.96
