How does the rejection letter look like for transfer students?

I would assume that it’s not a big packet that says “Congratulations” on the front. It’s probably just a small envelope with a letter inside.

When I was rejected as a Senior, we didn’t get a letter at all, just an online rejection form

i wouldn’t know :)

After careful review of your application for admission, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission for the Fall Quarter 2011. UCLA continues to receive more applications for admission than we can accommodate. Given the high caliber of the applicant pool, admission decisions were difficult and involved hard choices. Our decision is not a reflection of your potential to be a successful university student, nor is it meant to minimize your accomplishments. Rather, it is a reflection of the highly competitive admissions process at UCLA.

Preparation for the declared major, as well as the entire academic program and grades earned, were critical elements in the assessment for admission at UCLA. In addition, we take into consideration the educational opportunities and challenges faced by each student from information provided in the application. Applications were evaluated within the context of the applicant pool, and no single attribute or achievement guaranteed admission.

We wish you success in your academic endeavors.
