UCLA rescind help!

Ok i was accepted into Poli- sci with a 3.65 gpa. I am currently taking 22 units and sort of struggling. Here is what i "Think" i will recieve by semesters end.

English 1B- B 3 unit.......small possibilty up to A
Spanish 2- B 4 unit .........Small possibilty for A
Hist 17B (American) - C 3 unit
Hist 4b (western civil) - B 3 unit
Art 42 - C 3 unit
Com 1 - B 3 Unit........small possibilty for A
Poli Sci 4 (international relations) B 3 units....very small possiblity for A

So worst case scenerio i get a 2.72 gpa for the semester, and the best case scenerio i get 3.31....So i want to let ucla know these grades, but they dont want to hear grade projections they want actuall grades recieved. But by the time i will know it will be way to late.......ERR this is really frustrating....at least berkeley told me 3.0 for semester. So will they rescind? what should I do?....i might just pick UCSB because all of this..........

UCLA wont rescind you, as long as your overall GPA remains higher than a 3.0. Call your admissions officer and ask to make sure though. You can also talk to your professors and let them know whats up… just focus on school and get your grades up and things will work out.

u should file a prvisional form to UCLA and definitely call UCB and talk to ur admission officer under ur condition of admission. It depend where you want to go, if your first choice is UCB, then i suggest u to get at least 3.0… however, UCLA gave ur an uncertain contract with no certain GPA require so i think it is pretty dangerous but u can always tell them ur grade and see what u can done

is it possible to directly speak with my admission officer at UCLA? Because i called and who ever i talked to could not tell me anything. Im pretty sure that i either want to go to UCLA or UCSB …but i would imagine that if berkeley only requires 3.0 then ucla would be about the same…maybe

UCLA said it depend on the major that you applied to… I KNOW!!! UCLA wont give u a certain response… basically i m in the same situation as u… that i need to file my provisional update form to UCLA as soon as i got my grade from my professor to see whether or not i go to UCB or UCLA

same here, I just call ucla, and they just ******** something like “it’s up to you”, whoever has any experience or info, pls share with us

yea I called an once again they didn’t give me any valuable info…it’s so frustrating I wont know my final grades untill after June 1st. errr…I even asked if i could go into thier office in person to speak with someone and they said no…it wont help…i guess im just going to have to submit my hypothetical grades…even though were not supposed to…oh well…here i come UCSB

I just contacted with the admission officer in ucla, she told me
" if you have one c, you will be fine, don’t have to report"
“GPA means overall GPA, NOT each single semeter GPA”
“more than 1 C maybe better to report. report will only speed up the desicion, whether or not you report, they will find out your grades eventually.”
