Will ucla revoke my admission if I get two A twoB , or two A one B one C For spring?

Why don’t you call and ask?

Please let me know your answer as well

You can’t get a D or F or EXCESSIVE C’s (more than one). So if you just have one C you should be okay

Could i get revoked if this semester i have an “A” (3 unit class) and a “C” (4 unit class)? It doesnt drop my overall gpa significantly and its not excessive c’s. Both are prereqs though

You could get rescinded because you need to have a 3.0(+) for your final semester… I think?

Email them to make sure.

I am a transfer student and I have been admitted to UCLA in the Fall 2011 semester. I have a 3.22 GPA when I was admitted. This Spring Semester, I have 2 A’s (Organic Chemistry Lec and Lab), 1 B (Biology), and 1 D (Physics). I was VERY surprised in that my professor gave me a D because I was very sure I was going to get a C and I even asked my professor what my chances were and he said I was going to get a C. However, I did not. I have emailed my professor in asking why the case was. IF, my professor does not change my grade to a C, do you think my chances of being revoked from UCLA be 100%? I AM BEYOND TERRIFED, SCARED, DISAPPOINTED, ETC ETC. Everyone was happy for my admission. I’m still waiting for my professor’s response. I reviewed UCLA’s agreement and it said to maintain my GPA. It also says to report any excess C’s, drop in class, D or F grade. Also, the physics I’m taking does not count for UCLA because it is not the physics with calculus. UCLA recommends that I take physics when I transfer. So, will they put a lot of emphasis on that I got the D in physics when I will be taking physics over there anyway? I’m at lost of words here …

If Calculus based Physics is a requirement of your major at UCLA, getting a D, which is an unsatisfactory grade, in a non-Calculus based Physics course at a CCC, which is much less demanding than Calculus based Physics at UCLA will be, very likely will result in revocation of your admission. Even a C in that course is not going to look good but you could probably keep your admission if your professor is willing to go over your final exam and see if he can find a few more points if you were close to a C.

@ lostcollegebound,

I did not call to ask because I am fine. I got As, 1B, and the other class will be at least a B, so I am safe.

@Kiwixo,

You really should contact the school and think of good excuses to explain. If your prof can give you a C, that might really save you from being revoked, since your other grades are still good.

when its my turn to be admitted to a UC im gonna ask the same question about 10 times.

@Gattacamz,

I contacted UCLA of my poor grade Wednesday night. It said it would take 5-10 business days to hear back. However, I just recieved their response today!! So it took only 2 days!

“Thank you for notifying us of the poor grade you received in Physics. Since this course is not part of your major prep, and your overall gpa has not changed dramatically, your admission will be continued.”

I’m so glad!!! I don’t think I could have waited any longer …

:)

I know for a fact im not getting rescinded now. a B in my transferable math, never taking math again feels SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD
