<p>Lexapro, Ms. Sun says that the alumni assn really won’t be calling until decisions are posted. Some have heard - -so it’s not totally true. But partially, maybe it is, and there will be a slew of calls later today, tomorrow, Monday, etc. Let’s hope!</p>

On the FAQ page, it doesn’t mentions anything about priority registration. Are you sure you’re not confusing this scholarship with Regent?</p>
<p>@Labyrinthus–You are totally right, thanks for pointing that out. I was only going by the posting here on CC that I quoted from 2009, which may very well be outdated. My apologies. (Still a nice list of benefits for the Alumni Scholars, though!)</p>

<p>I got the scholarship!! But if you get it in the first round, who moves onto the next, area level? They said I’m not moving on!</p>
<p>Yeah sorry for the old thread, priority registration is no longer available to Alumni Scholars. I think they stopped that in 2009 because practically everyone had priority. Now priority is only for regents scholars, NCAA athletes, disabled students, and veterans.</p>
<p>Not everyone who is awarded the scholarship at the district level moves on to the area level. It’s usually 1-2 people per district.</p>
