<p>i submitted my sir to ucla. i have a very small chance at berk, so i probably won’t need to take it back. haha.</p>

<p>yeah, i’ve gone back and forth between ucla and berkeley so many times that i’m pretty convinced i’ve got some type of multiple personality thing going on. hopefully that will subside after today…or it will just get worse, lol</p>

<p>Nope. They get ****ed. I don’t remember exactly where I read this, but it said something along the lines of “Don’t submit a SIR to more than one school. Doing so will jeopardize your admission.” I think I read it while submitting my SIR to UCLA.</p>
<p>On the other hand, I declined UCI’s offer, and they said that I could change my mind anytime before June 1. However, when I declined UCSD’s offer, they said the decision was final. I guess it just depends on the school.</p>
<p>I think it really depends on each school’s policy, it’s not a universal rule. I would suggest you play it safe and submit your SIR after you decide which school you want to attend. Plus you gotta pay a $100-150 deposit.</p>
<p>The worst case scenario… I’m stuck with a great school… UCLA lol :)</p>

<p>************** thats wrong. because we never submitted sir to more than one place. and sir is a statement of INTENT to register. if you cancel that before you submit another sir it’s all good.</p>
<p>Whatever, that’s just what I read. Like I said, I’m pretty sure I read this while submitting my SIR to UCLA, which said not to submit more than one SIR. You can argue the definition of the word Intent all day, if they want to hassle you because of it, you will be hassled.</p>
