UCLA Summer Courses

TSP is through the ASP and apparently they only accept like 100 - 200 people. All the info will be given out at Scholar’s Day tomorrow… I heard about it through the Stomper’s Conference. Otherwise I would have never known about it… I don’t have too much info about it but here is a link about the curriculum (vague! blah! )

AAP’s Freshman/Transfer Summer Program
AAP’s Freshman/Transfer Summer Program (F/TSP) is a seven-week rigorously academic residential program, running from July 25- September 13, 2010, giving you experience with the academic demands of UCLA, introducing you to life at UCLA, and helping you feel comfortable as a UCLA student. You will be challenged academically. You’ll enroll in two university courses, both which meet UCLA’s graduation requirements. You’ll receive close personal attention from professors, teaching assistants, counselors, and peer counselors, and you’ll work closely with tutors in small groups or in one-on-one individual meetings.

In F/TSP, you will gain even more confidence in your intellectual abilities before having to deal with the pressures of your first full quarter of university academic work; you will become familiar with the whole range of campus programs, services, and resources available to you; and you’ll have the opportunity to live on campus together with F/TSP students of diverse backgrounds.
