UCLA summer registration has a fee. In the previous years, was there ever a fee implemented for the summer session registration?

I’ve never done summer at UCLA, but the fees look pretty standard… any school’s summer session should have that sort of stuff.

I registered on 3/1 when it became open registration. If you are referring to the 150.00 Non-Refundable, I believe its applied to your tuition as long as you dont drop all your classes.

Also I thought the fee was only for non UC students (which I am, until I hear back from the schools I applied)

Just talking about the $150 non-refundable. I could have swore that it wasn’t there before.

If u r not planning to go uc or get credit for uc or repeat course at uc, then it’s dumb idea to take class at uc. It’s just one of experience from one of uc student.

I am pretty sure people who take UC summer courses have every intention of transferring or earning UC credits. At the cost of the classes, taking them just to take them would be a little silly.

@ HopingToXfer I have never looked into it before this summer so I can not speak on what the policy was in the past. However, given the state of the UC, CSU, and CCC systems I am not surprised of any new fees.

I’m a bit confused, but Summer Sessions cost $271/unit + $8/unit + $65 Campus Registration Fee? There’s no other fees that aren’t listed on the website, right? (They do list a $150 nonrefundable fee… for non-UCLA students, however, but that wouldn’t concern me.)
