UCLA Summer

so i was just accepted to UCLA and now i wanna take one or two courses to get my feet wet before the year starts. i've looked up the undergrad courses i still need for my major and i THINK it's what i should take. does anyone know how to get a hold or someone that can help recommend me summer courses i need for my major? i totally sound like a baby that still needs hand holding--but i just don't want to take a course in the wrong order or a course that i still need some prep for. i can't seem to find any phone numbers of academic advisers or should i just call the number on the summer session website and go from there?

This is relevant to my interests.

Look in the catalog for courses required for your major. Then, take one. The course catalog is typically accurate, but you can check the department website if there were any updates for the major.

You would want to email the department directly. For Math, it’s ugrad@math.ucla.edu . This email address is found on [The department’s website](http://www.math.ucla.edu/info/contact.shtml) and is operated by multiple faculty. Hence, when you get a reply, it won’t be from ugrad@math.ucla.edu but another Math advisor that can best answer your inquiries.

i’m planning to take psych100A and chem14A this summer.

Is chem14A part of the Psychology major?
