I was assigned a double, shared bath in Sunset Village and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this place? The housing website doesn't go into very much detail, so I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with this place?

I wanted De Neve or Rieber, but I don’t see myself applying to transfer out of Sunset. I’ve read some mixed comments about it too, but I’m sure it will be okay. I wish the housing website would give more details…

Got placed in SV as well… in a triple. It was my third choice. Maybe competition was steep this year, but then again I’m so excited to be at UCLA that I really don’t care.

I was placed into SV in a triple as well… it wasn’t even a choice I picked (room preference was my top priority on the application). I wanted to get into the apartments hopefully I can change out

Got assigned here too. Don’t we have to move out when their doing renovations? I read somewhere that transfers are usually assigned to delta terrace?

I got sunset village, triple shared. I’m pretty sure this means I’m in delta terrace since it’s the only one with shared bathrooms, as far as I know.

In order to be placed in rieber terrace or rieber vista, what is the housing offer suppose to say? Does it specifically state the building name or do they have a common name like sunset village, which is the common name for 3 buildings?

I also got Sunset Village triple shared (which is part of Delta Terrace) . Didn’t put it on my list and if I had, a triple shared would of been my last choice. I also wanted off-campus apartment as well as having my own room was top priority. Anyway I googled “Sunset Village UCLA Reviews” and some old threads popped up. Seems like it’s more anti social (or more quiet if you prefer) than other housing but no horror stories either. No big hills to climb to get to campus so that’s a plus.
