all it means is that you're not borderline, or that they just plain don't want/need more info about you. which could mean any number of things, and i'm not gonna make any predictions...
but it does NOT mean you've been rejected!

<p>Borderline doesn't mean you have a "good chance" at getting in. It just means you have the POTENTIAL of UCLA material, but you would need to "stand out" from the other borderline students to make the cut. You will need a special circumstance or unique reason to be admitted. It is like the process of an interview. This step is like making the first interview, and now being asked back for a second interview. </p>
<p>I would predict a 25-50% chance of admission for those who got a supplementary information form.</p>

My mail system is a little messed up I don't get some of the stuff. </p>

<p>There is no "equation" for your admission status. Or else everyone would know if they got in or not by entering his/her statistic into a computer.</p>

<p>getting a supplemental form isn't a good thing. i don't know why everyone wants one. ucla is going to admit students with low stats this year, i assume, because they just started using the holistic approach or w/e (copying berkeley). they still want good stats but they are going to consider other things such as your essay and leadership (and... URM, low income, etc.). go to the ucb supplemental forum and read on.</p>
<p>since a lot of kids applied this year (~50,000), and since they started a new way of admissing students, i wouldn't be so sure about your ucla chances.</p>
<p>well yes but receiving one not only means you are borderline, but you have control. THe essay you write, the grades you send in, any extra info you send wtih it. Not getting one means we're accepted or rejected adn the onyl reason why we all have so much anxiety over college admissions is we have 0 control over what happens</p>
