Thanks Andrizzle

I really appreciate it. I’m going to appeal for econ, but with appeal rates so low we know how that can go. Yeah a lot of people on this forum and in my classes felt I was robbed, but hopefully there was a mistake somewhere on my Application which I will hopefully find out today when I try to call. Also I wanna find out why I wasn’t even consider for my alternate major.

have you looked at the prequisites for math/econ?

I don’t want to sound crude, but completing calc2 in spring means you haven’t completed at least 3/10 preq.

@Dam It’s Johnny

Try to appeal as Econ that is your best bet. My friend at IVC got in with a 3.6something. I eagerly await my pending to expire…I wish you the best of luck. Prove to UCLA that they made a mistake.

^ Oh I know that girlyshout, but with past years many people who similar stats got into math/econ even missing pre-reqs because the major is not impacted.

@Trasferuc thanks I’m going to appeal for Econ so hopefully I get in. I’ve already started my appeal so I hope to have it send out by next Friday, and I hope you get in.

The appeal information is at https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/AppealsTr.htm

For your appeal to be considered, you must prove that you are a much stronger candidate than what was presented in your application. Specifically, you must present new and compelling information that was not previously available to the admissions office.

Ms. Sun do you know if there are going to be any more waves after today?

I haven’t been able to get a straight answer from the admissions office. Just keep an eye on the forum, I’m sure people will scream out any decision release the moment it becomes available :)

i just got rejected and i filled out the ucla tap form…

is there even a point in appealing. i feel like everyone that had below a 3.8 got rejected for biz econ… ADASDSADSADSADAS

i had a 3.78 and finished everything

had work hours, and some ec and my essays were alright

i dont get it what the hell.
