MY question is - if i sign up for the TAP program at my community college which is going to give me priority consideration for admission when i apply to UCLA, is that going to be worth the approximately 12 honor units im going to have to take to be part of TAP program just to get that priority consideration? or will that just increase my likehood of getting a lower gpa because im taking honors classes which have no purpose except being part of TAP? Schools i want to apply to are UCLA, UCSB, UCD preference in that order. Should i just normally apply to the schools without being part of tap? pls help.

btw, this is the TAP info site
