and a C in my major pre-req But my friend also have 3.4 gpa but no C in pre-req got in biz-econ… sigh

Rejected

Psychology
3.77 to 3.8 gpa
igetc done
prereqs done
tap
good essays
good ecs

im confused.

It’s a tough major to get into, but that’s a pretty harsh rejection considering that you have TAP done.

yeah the worst part is that everyone else i know who got in for the same major (about 6) either had a lower gpa than mine or no tap. or both. i dont know anyone who both had a higher gpa than mine + tap. like this kid got in with a 3.4. ***.

call UCLA and find out why

As mentioned earlier, some of you are failing to take into consideration that

TAP Certification is ONLY good for The College of Letters and Science

WOW…so i called them and they told me that i got denied because i was missing a major prep work class…philosphy 101…which i did and the lady looked at it and said that it must have gotten missed or someone counted wrong. So i got ****ing denied because someone at UCLA failed to do their job correctly. she told me to write an appeals letter.

Definitely write an appeal letter for that… surely that reason is good enough to get you accepted.
