So i just got accepted to UCLA but im not too excited because i was accepted as my alternate major which was american literature culture... so my question is do you think theres any way i can switch my major once im already at ucla??

i have the same question

^Depends on your major. I know Economics forbids this.

I’ve got the same question as well:
Is it possible to switch to History? I know History is “impacted”, but I doubt it’s as impacted as all these other majors.

I don’t think I’d enjoy Anthropology, I’d rather stay an extra year at CC.

Um, I’d tap that

like what if i want to change my major to political science or history? do you think that will work or they will say that i have to stick with the major i was accepted as.

If I were you and my primary major was similar to my alternate… I would just try and double major, if you cannot ditch your secondary major!

yeah im probably just gonna do that but do any of you guys know any transfers that have successfully changed their major? because my friend who is a ucla student told me that you can change your major after your first quarter at ucla

it depends i think…i know some majors absolutely will not let you. others might.
