UCLA Transcripts for admits

I just realized the transcripts are due on Monday.

Does anyone know if we can turn them in person? Or do the transcripts have to be mailed...

What??? The transcripts from your CC or wherever are due by July 15th

The deadline for fall 07 grades is Monday, but the admissions counselor I called said it's not a mandatory date. It's just for a counselor to prepare your DPR by the time of your orientation.

Ha...really good that I saw this thread, then.

Warrior, Homepage this: UCLA Undergrad Admissions: New Bruins - Transfer New Student Guide

Yeah, that's what I had just checked. Thanks for linking me, though. :)

Now does the transcript need to be postmarked by then or in their hands by then? Probably shouldn't take any chances with this...hmmm

Just ordered my transcripts yesterday =( Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get there. I thought you were supose to send them in after I accepted their admissions not before.

Don't feel bad. A lot of people were confused by this at my school so they will probably be getting a lot of late transcripts. Until two weeks ago I thought we just had to turn in everything by the July 15th deadline. The whole turn in everything up to fall 2007 thing threw me b/c I assumed they had our grades through our application update, but didn't realize they needed an official copy.

If you're ultra paranoid I am sure you could drop them off in person, but I don't think that's necessary.

Yeah I was worried about this as well -- I called UCLA and they said you can mail the transcripts yourself as long as they're still sealed, making them "official". I was in a panic because my school said it would take 10 business days to send, but I ended up getting them in. Also, June 2nd is a postmark deadline, they don't actually have the RECEIVE them by June 2nd.

I might as well just hand it in in person then.
