wow, you guys are so fortunate to be able to get financial aid.

kidkrasher- what does your URSA say about financial aid?

i dont get financial aid. I wasnt born in the U.S. :(

KidKrasher: I am sure there are plenty of scholarships you are eligible to apply for.

gosh what time does the decision come out?

My Financial Aid Document Tracking says “No Document Tracking Information available for this Award Period.”
And my Financial Aid Summary/Awards says “You do not have a Financial Aid Summary for this Award Period.”

I submitted my FAFSA early too (like early February). What the heck. :c
I also just double checked to make sure I had the right school code for UCLA on my FAFSA and I do.
THIS MAKES ME SAD/WORRIED. WHAT IS GOING ON?!

@bunnychan I don’t see anything either…filed in February as well. I don’t want to take this as a bad sign though. Some people’s URSA changed minutes before admissions were out last year, so UCLA is def still working on it

@ pinoakio (If I don’t mistake, you asked…)

UCLA is my top/dream school, but I’m realistic and not pinning my hopes too high. That’s why I worked like crazy on my personal statement, after a good 7 drafts, several handfuls of opinions, I think it carries the most weight on my app. I gotta keep an eye on my fin.aid ma-bob.

@ bunnychan, seriously! I saw that too, the part about “No Document Tracking Info…”. I already got accepted to SB, so I know my FAFSA info went through the UC system, but hopefully UCLA is just lagging alot. We’ll see, not to be a jerk, but just relieving to see I’m not in the boat alone. good luck mate.

It’s April 21 already…when is UCLA going to release Fall transfer decision?:(

So I was searching and I found this and for some of you it might relieve stress or cause more?? Haha yopu decide…

The OFFICIAL 2010 UCLA Acceptance Thread

decitions started coming out last year on the 21st after 5:00 and continued on a rolling basis through the 26th it looks like.

^Yes, but the 21st was a Wednesday last year. So, we all expected the decisions yesterday (the freshman decisions were released on the equivalent day to last year–the nearest day to the same day of the week if that makes sense).

That said, I certainly hope decisions are released today.

I’d be really shocked if decisions aren’t released before the weekend.

^same here.
@Brit: thanks for the info.

We might as well as wait till after 5pm today. If not, hopefully tomorrow…

IS TODAY THE BIG DAY GUYS?! 29 MINUTES AND COUNTING…

I’m literally gonna cry if it doesnt even come out today.

Uhhh… at least I got my fallback I guess. UCSD :/

I really don’t think its gonna be this week. Friendly wager peoples, I say Monday @ 5:03pm

As a current student at the school (i’ve applied to ucla as a transfer in order to pursue art), I’d say ucsd is a fantastic back up.

Some poeple on UCLA’s facebook site said they contacted admissions, and admissions supposedly said decisions would come out next wed at the earliest and next friday at the latest. I’m hoping these people are wrong, but I get the feeling they aren’t.

Okay so I am a UC-transfer student: GPA 3.774, Philosophy major, strong essays, received an A in the UCLA philosophy class I took over the summer, only applied to UCLA, provided legit reasons for why I want to transfer to UCLA, have a few awards/honors, as well as some extra-cirriculars. Anyways, that doesn’t matter.

I just called UCLA Undergraduate Admissions and the representative said that they are releasing decisions starting from the end of this month, throughout the beginning of next month (as if we didn’t already know that). I asked her if she could provide a date and she said that they do not release exact dates.

After stalking last year’s thread, I expected the decisions to come out Wednesday, April 20 or today, Friday April 22. If the decisions don’t come out today, then we can assume that the people on the UCLA Facebook site were correctly informed.

Im just going to pretend the results come out next friday because I’m tired of getting my hopes up that the results will come out everyday I go online.
