Tbh at this point I don’t have much hope. Not trying to be negative, but we all have been patient for all this time and still nothing has come out. We all know the situation for this year and that UCLA already has a lower chance of getting off the waitlist than UC Berkeley. I just want it to be over with, I just want something back before the 14 th so I can decide if I should SIR to Berkeley

I agree with @viviantong. Not having guaranteed housing would not bother me. I would probably just live out of my car.
@OnlyPartly you’ll know for sure within a week (most likely). I predict they will release decisions on Saturday or Monday. I really believe that they’re waiting until after the 15th.
If there’s anyone who’s having a difficult time deciding about sending your SIR to another school you got off the waitlist to already… worst case scenario is losing $500 and getting into UCLA which isn’t the worst case at all. Just thought I’d share some perspective since this is a pretty big decision for all of us.
If you are waitlisted you are supposed to sir to another school as waitlist decisions come out after the sir date
Just as a heads up, I called admission today and they said that they are currently reviewing all transfer waitlist applicants. They also said no transfer applicants have been admitted off the waitlist yet. Good luck all!
@ingrace does that mean they just started reviewing? Or in the process of finish reviewing all applicants?
It means they are stalling until after June 15th lol. There’s a chance that they will release ON June 15th, because there is some ambiguity on the FAQ.
“If you are admitted before June 15, you will need to submit a housing application within 15 days of your admission notice to be eligible for guaranteed housing.
If you are admitted after June 15, you will need to submit an appeal for guaranteed housing, or apply as a lottery applicant. Lottery applicants are not guaranteed a space and will receive offers as space becomes available.”
So what happens if you’re admitted ON June 15th? It just says BEFORE and AFTER.
I just called admissions again, they said they are releasing waitlist decisions by the end of the week. My guess is that they’re waiting until after the 15th.
@ingrace It could be on Friday, but likely on Saturday. Probably Saturday morning if I had to guess.

Last year UCLA released their first wave on Saturday, June 3 at around 5am.
