I’ve been reading old transfer appeal threads and thought I’d start a new one. I submitted my appeal on May 4th, but don’t expect a decision until after June 1st. Anyone else waiting for an appeal decision?
I submitted my appel on the last day for Business Economics.
Yeah. I submitted mine for engineering and the director of transfers told me I would hear something last Friday but I heard nothing so I don’t know

Mine says May 1st too. They probably have the same message for transfer and freshman appeals and didn’t catch that they didn’t change the month
@itakenotes whoops i meant i sent one for UC Berkeley appeal I was already accepted to UCLA.

Sure, it may be pointless in terms of outcome - but damn, I need some sort of engagement/conversation regarding this appeal. lol

On a side note, I’m going to UCSB tonight for a film festival hosted by a current student I know.
Since I was accepted there, might as well start looking at it as a serious option in case this appeal falls through.

Based on old threads and the dates that past people heard back, I would say that if we don’t hear back today that they’ll probably start sending out appeal decisions next Thursday or Friday.
My friend said he received his on June 3 last year and he was accepted.

@Absabs yes I’m appealing for this year. Today my friends friend got in from appeal, my friend told me she is had TAP, and she had someone advocate for her .
I was rejected last year on appeal on the 30th of May. Rejections might come out tomorrow since this year lands on a federal holiday. Not to bum out anyone, but just check so you can plan ahead for the SIR deadline, which is also tomorrow…
@reinare My friend was accepted on June 3 of last year, so it’s not necessary that rejections might be released tomorrow, and are you waiting for your appeal as well? Also the SIR deadline is June 1, so not tomorrow.
