Hello all! So, here is my situation: I am currently in my last semester at a local community college (majoring in English) and I am preparing to transfer to UCLA (hopefully, fingers crossed). Recently I've been getting quite nervous about whether I'll be accepted or not! General statistics are as followed:

Cumulative GPA: 3.96
IGETC: Completed
Total Credits: 73
Major Courses Completed: English 1A, 1B, 2, 3
Prerequisites Completed: English 1A, 1B, 2 yrs. foreign language

In sum, my main concern is that I do not have all of the major prerequisites completed, as there are two that I am missing; however, the reason why I was not able to take these courses is simply because my current college does not offer them. Are there any other English majors who transferred to UCLA without completing all of the prerequisites? I am highly academic and I'm hoping that they will look past this fact (though I realize that this is unrealistic). I don't have too much "leadership" experience, either. I was the director of a film that I did for my college, but that's about it.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!
