UCLA transfer chances?

Hello,

I was wondering If you guys think I could get into UCLA...

Overall GPA 3.9
Transfer (IGETC) GPA 4.0

I worked all through college at Veterinary Hospital and took 7 Honors courses. I would like to major in Linguistics and Psychology.

Any Chance?

Thanks!!!

2007 acceptance rate for the major was 82%

average gpa of admits was 3.41

i would say you have an excellent chance, at the very least 80%

they don't deny over qualified students do they?
lol then i say u got a really good chance

You major isn't as impacted as Biz Econ. But even if it were, you have a great shot. We're all hesitant to say shoe-in anymore but... yeah. I think Psych is a bit more competitive than Linguistics though. Either way I say you're in great shape.

A.C do you mean the major of Linguistics and Psych - the dual major, or do you mean each one individually.

i think he/she means the individual one

if so, you've got a great shot

My admission statistic applies to the major of Linguistics and Psychology.

If you really want to end up at UCLA i suggest you apply under the dual major of Linguistics and Psychology rather than Psych because even though you are highly competative you never know how decisions will go and people with good GPAs often get rejected. Your chances of acceptance ARE higher under Linguistics and Psychology than just Psych.

beautiful I am proud of you! you deserve it!

Hi Guys,

I'm interested in the dual major...

Thank You all for your comments I feel better now!

Take care everybody!

shoe in, but you still have to get through summer + fall.
