<p>@sumbum no worries, no offense taken! I just know we’re all guilty sometimes of trying to reach for signs that, well…may not really be signs, haha. Some people who are really stressed may have taken that joke and really ran with it, so just making sure :)</p>

<p>Well if that’s the case, about the date update thing, then I guess that’s one less thing to worry about. I could definitely see them not feeling the need to do that when they have so much other stuff to take care of. Just trying to help everyone prep for whatever direction the cookie ends up crumbling in, if that makes sense. Good thing we aren’t tested on our analogy-making skills in the admissions process…I’d be toast ;)</p>
<p>Last year’s thread has some people who did not get their decisions on the 20th, but the day after. Maybe it’ll be similar?</p>
<p>One of my friend works within the Admissions office. According to her (also a rumor), that results will NOT be posted this weekend. She might be wrong, but with her position and the 19th being a speculation, it might be that UCLA is not posting this weekend.</p>
<p>But the 20th was a Friday last year. I thought the admissions office is closed over the weekend</p>
<p>I’ve also heard that they’re set on releasing them on a Friday for obvious reasons</p>
<p>I meant that it will be posted on the week of the 22nd (next week). Apparently they are held back with the applications.</p>
<p>all we can do is just wait until 4/19 5pm and if not… then hopefully during the weekday or on the same day as Cal… x_x</p>

<p>Traditionally Berkeley posts one week after ucla. If ucla posts next week, we’ve run out of time in April for their decisions.</p>
<p>@xMathx I don’t think Berkeley is changing their date just because UCLA is. They have already confirmed and posted their decision date.</p>

<p>@silvertongues Actually UCLA is my third choice. Cal is my first. But I want to know if I got into UCLA just for options and maybe to get my hopes up about the eventual Cal decision (though I realize it’s all just a crapshoot and there are no guarantees either way).</p>
<p>UCSD is my second choice, and luckily, I’ve already been accepted because of TAG :)</p>
