Well, there it is! No point checking tomorrow

@jfan93 Thank you for that.
Also, I just got word from someone in admissions that they will not be released tomorrow. I think it’s pretty much clear that it’s gonna be next week.
They were aiming for tomorrow, but they couldn’t make the deadline. I don’t understand why though.

So disappointing…

@jfan93: Yes, thank you for that! I think we just needed to know!

“In addition to its freshman class, UCLA will be offering admission to stellar transfer students for the fall 2013 term on April 26. Transfer students are not only critical to UCLA’s mission as a public university, but they add vibrancy and diversity to campus life, Copeland-Morgan said.”

Our luck. Ucla, the top school we apply to cant meet a deadline -.- fantastic

Omg noooooooooooo!!! A whole week!!!

where did you get that at ?

Aw, well now we have a week to wait. I have 3 exams and my birthday, so I’ll be busy not thinking about UCLA and Cal admission decisions on the same day.

[UCLA admits more than 16,000 exceptional students for its fall 2013 freshman class / UCLA Newsroom](UCLA admits more than 16,000 exceptional students for its fall 2013 freshman class | UCLA)

@sumbum that’s pretty cool! (About the likely letter) Sounds like a really positive indication :)

I like how they put a line or two about transfer applicants while the freshmen applicants are more “renowned.” It seems like the only reason why they accept transfer applicants is because the state mandates them to do so.

@sumbum and bruingal, no problem.
@HopingToXfer, from the UCLA news site. A quick google of “ucla transfer admissions 2013 decisions” or something along those lines should pull this up as the 6th or 7th result :)

I’m confused as to why they don’t just say the 26th then. Why promote confusion by saying there’s no set date? Lol.

Well that article was dedicated to the freshmen admissions…just cause they only had 1 paragraph mentioning transfers doesn’t imply anything. However, your assumption that transfers are less renowned that freshmen admits is true. Looking at it realistically, it IS easier to get in through the CC route than it is to get in through high school. If UCLA was private, they wouldn’t do it so easily.

that’s really…really…really…annoying

In UCLA housing, when you try to log in as an admitted student, if it works, does it mean that you are admitted?

You can log in?

To make sure, let’s try to confirm tomorrow’s admission status, I think everybody can do.

^ I don’t think so? Can’t that just mean you signed up as a summer session student?

Aw well at least we know for sure now!!

not sure, and who cares?

We have to wait until the 26th?!??? lame
