It is not a 2013 freshman acceptance letter. There is no Student ID (should be under the Date) and the no. of students is not 90000, it is (quoted) “…almost 100,000”. Some wordings are missing (compared with the one for this year).

Luckily 3.4 was the average GPA for American Lit students last semester, but every year is different. It makes me anxious because it’s high enough for me to have a chance but not high enough for me to fell confident at all. aaaaaahhhhh!!!

Nah, this is where your personal statement has a chance to shine! Any compelling life stories, EC’s?

I do, and UCLA emailed me 3 times back in Feb. I may not get in, but I have no doubt that my application was evaluated. That’s all I can hope for; actually, I only applied to boost my self-confidence…to show I was proud of what I’ve done so far.

Haha thanks you guys and @UCdrone you’re not going to get rejected. Besides, I might be going to UCI along with you (btw did you get the regents from UCI?)

No, I didn’t get Regents. I only had 3.7+ (at least that’s what it said on my UC app) when I filled it out-- gotta love that auto calculate, LOL :)

There is always that possibility that I don’t have that GPA

I had a strong personal essay, so hopefully that helps. Unfortunately, I only received the one email saying they received my personal statement. Don’t really have many ECs Worked full-time and was involved with the English Club. If I don’t get in I will probably go to UCI.

Why don’t you think you’ll get in? What are your backups?

@atarif, that was hella funny at first. Everyone, atarif made a funny.
Thanks man/woman, but it’s dead now.
Put it to sleep. Goodnight it. Dream it. Then forget it. It’s gone and never coming back. Now just transformed energy floating along the universe. Infinitely lingering in motion outside of this thread.
