UCLA Transfer decisions out April 19th!

Decisions are coming out so soon!

@bicyclebicycle
Not everybody does. Most of us do, but I just think its because the majority of people who come on this site are good students

It does, looking at the 2012 and 2011 admission threads, a mast majority of the people who posted on the thread got accepted.

And I’ve only seen the tricks fail once, and that was for other reasons.

Damn@bsfswisher you are stiff competition my friend

@jrlovesseattle haha thanks!! Hopefully we get in lol

By the way, everyone have a great day!! Only two more days woot woot.

My banner went completely blank, only my name is showing!

Lol np. I’m a poli sci major also. 3.8 gpa and some ECs but not nearly as much as that lol. And I can’t see my major or financial so we shall see lol

Is it a good sign if I can see my Financial Aid summary, with the expected contributions and stuff. But it still says I have no awards under that. Is it indicating that I may be accepted, just that they expect me to foot the whole tuition. Someone please enlighten me. Thanks.

Well your gpa is right above the average admitted! Haha and I’m going to go ahead and delete my stats now lol, until Friday.

@ jrlovesseattle

I told you that they haven’t gotten to your app yet!

Well I’m either not in or I did something terribly wrong. It says document tracking not available or not requested. Basically they haven’t received my FAFSA but I successfully updated it in March. I tried calling them but the financial aid doesn’t open until 10am. This is what it says when I try to open the financial aid package :

Document tracking functionality is available ONLY to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).

If you are a newly admitted student and have received a Provisional Award Letter (ePAL), please ignore the information below – Financial Aid Office is in possession of your financial aid application. Once you have SIR’ed, if there is any additional information needed by the financial aid office, we will contact you via e-mail.

The Financial Aid Office has not received your financial aid application (FAFSA) for the current academic year. We cannot determine your eligibility for financial aid without this information. To complete the FAFSA or check on the status of a submitted application go to: www.fafsa.ed.gov.

If you completed a FAFSA and UCLA has no record of it, please note:
Applications are forwarded to UCLA within 5-7 business days, if submitted via web and 3-4 weeks, if submitted via paper.
The process has not been completed, if the application was “Saved” and not “Submitted” for processing. If you were not presented with a confirmation page, your FAFSA may not have been submitted.
UCLA (school code 001315) MUST be listed on your FAFSA.
If the Social Security Number on your FAFSA does not match the SSN in our records, we will not receive your FAFSA data.

Checked my FAFSA and I have the confirmation that UCLA is on there. Ill try calling in an hour.

Is it a good sign if I can see my Financial Aid summary, with the expected contributions and stuff? But it still says I have no awards under that. Is it indicating that I may be accepted, just that they expect me to foot the whole tuition. Someone please enlighten me. Thanks.

@bsfswisher @UCdrone hope you guys are right. Coffee is on me if I’m in :)

Considering I am an international transfer, I don’t see the page about financial aid. What if I only can log into myUCLA account from the decision letter site? That page appears to blank background and just notifies me the available date to get informed, and it shows up with a UCLA student ID in the right top corner and my names and address on the left. Is it a good sign? Actually, I am not that confident to get into UCLA.You know, it is quite tough to transfer from other schools except CCCs. Although I want to clam down to get some peace, I am quite nervous. If I can make it, it would fulfill my dream and make me so glad.

Ugh I am so over this and becoming more and more depressed /.-

^^^ I feel you. Plus I’m catching a cold so I’m becoming delirious {@.@}

I feel like I am being ignored. I am freaking out right now. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Is it a good sign if I can see my Financial Aid summary, with the expected contributions and stuff. But it still says I have no awards under that. Is it indicating that I may be accepted, just that they expect me to foot the whole tuition. Someone please enlighten me. Thanks.

Have you tried looking through this thread for your answer??? -__-

@Nooteboom You’re fine; don’t worry. What you see is a good sign and nobody has awards listed. As long as your EFC isn’t more than cost of attendance, you should receive SOME aid. Also, you’ve posted the same question 4 times in the last few minutes. If you read through the thread, you would’ve found the answer to your question yourself.
