@jrlovesseattle I have, but everybody says the good sign is “financial aid awards”. So I am not sure if that encompasses what I am seeing.

@bsfswisher I am not worried about the tuition. I am wondering if is is a sign of acceptance or not.

@Nooteboom Then, like jrlovesseattle and I have said, look through the thread to find your answer. That question has already been answered. I literally clicked on a random page and saw the answer to your question. Page 96 posts 1433 and 1434.

Not trying to be rude, but people will either get annoyed or ignore you when the question you ask has been answered two pages back

Lmao delirious!!

Ugh I think I won’t even check when the time comes and just sleep all day Friday. I can’t handle the disappointment ahahahaha

@ sarah989

Yeah, I know…we are definitely a biased sample here. I wish there were some less-stellar students around to confirm or deny the tricks this year! Gah. I feel like I have to be pessimistic as a defensive mechanism but I am trying to be positive at the same time. Rooting for all of you regardless!

@UCdrone Good for you. Last year, I heard that the admitted students have the same pattern that we now experience, it is the sign of the admittance. major showing up-> blank-> major, admitted student on Friday.

Wow other polisci majors __ but you guys have way better stats than me haha how many pre-reqs did you finish?

@bicycle My friend who’s applying for one of their most competitive programs studio art can’t see her major or financial aid but yeah I know how you feel. But it’s exciting to wake up in the morning to see more updates on my ursa! Now if only it would state admit already >:(

when we post our decisions, we should share whether these tricks work. i am curious to know. lol plus, we are doing a big favor for next years people who will be on our shoes.

@appleslices I’m still getting my stats and 2 econs out the way. So I might be at a disadvantage. But I got into ucsb w my math still ip so who knows!

@appleslices I will be done with my pre reqs at the end of this semester. I’m in my Stats class this semester

@mermeid yeah I agree! They did that last year for the decisions thread and it was super helpful

@jrloves is Econ required? I’m taking them too for an accounting minor but I didn’t realize it was necessary

@crazycollege oh same here plus international politics. In actually in class right now but I’m hiding in the back to look through this forum instead LOL

What are your guys major status and financial? Lets keep each other updated >__<

@appleslices I have 2 pre-reqs -.- lol. UCSC only offers 2/5 pre-reqs. Major was showing up yesterday and is now blank, and I can see my financial aid summary. Though Berkeley is my top choice by far, I’m really hoping UCLA won’t hold lack of pre-reqs against me since I didn’t have the option of taking more than 2, because I do want to get into UCLA!

I never did the trick thing
Lmao I loved that class!! But this damn thread is addicting. This is all I do now -.-

I couldn’t see my major until yesterday now its blank my financial aid info appeared today and I’m able to log into myucla email but i haven’t messed with housing since it notifies them every time you do haha

@bsfswisher I don’t believe they hold that against you when your school doesn’t have the pre reqs. It’s not your fault.

I’m in international politics Econ 1a and 1b and stats lol dammit

Anyone can answer my question before? Is it a good sign that my decision page appears to my UCLA student ID? It makes it possible to identify myself and able to apply the myUCLA account, right? Because when I try to create myUCLA account, the terms indicates that I should be a part of UCLA community and I can find the needed 9 digits identification ID No from the online admission letter. So I guess…maybe I get in. Plus, will UCLA also release waiting list for transfers? I am new here and I am an international student. Also refer to my response on last page. Plz help> <

@crazycollegedays I figured they couldn’t hold it against me, but when I called admissions, the rep me that although they cannot technically hold lack of pre-reqs against me, applicants with completed pre-reqs “would be much more competitive.” But, I guess we’ll see in a couple days!

Ms Sun says that UCLA really emphasizes that pre reqs be completed even if they’re not offered on your campus. If a CC within 10 mi of your campus offers it you’re expected to enroll. ( I personally am missing 1 pre req. )
