<p>Hi! I am currently enrolled in El Camino Community College and I applied to UCLA, B, SD this year.
My major is Economic
My gpa is 3.84
I have all As except for two Bs.
I am also enrolled in HTP and Tap program.
I completed all of my prerequisites
Also, finished IGETC
I searched online and the average gpa for econ is usually 3.9 or 3.89. Since I am enrolled in Tap program, do you guys think I can still get in?</p>
@jjjjiiiiyouuu did you get in?
.
Hey, I go to El Co as well! I had two friends who got into UCLA for business Econ with a 3.5 GPA straight out of el co. They were in htp, ags and other student howdy organizations on campus. Remember, 3.9 is just an average. Good luck!
yes… I think you have a pretty good chance of getting in. Pre recs completed that good and GPA is around what they look for. Don’t know many transfer apps they will receive this year so it could be competitive especially for econ
Rejected:
GPA: 3.2
Intended Major: Psychology
Major Pre-reqs: Finished or currently in progress
IGETC: Finished
TAP: No
Accepted: Nowhere
Rejected: UCD, UCLA
Waiting for: UCSC, UCI, SCU, Pitzer College, Stanford, Rice
=( Ruined my whole day. Now the question becomes: do I try to TAG and stay at CCC for another year (3rd year already)? Or, do I just transfer to a CSU (which I’ve already been accepted).
I have 100 quarter units now, do I need to be full-time from now on to do tag? I can get my gpa over 3.2 all next year, but it will be a painful year. Maybe I’ll get into SCU, idk lol.
@fleetfeet2016 You can’t tag UCLA
