<p>I am coming from san diego, and since its till 9pm i have to find a hotel/motel.</p>
<p>ANyone who lives there want to suggest where i can stay?</p>
<p>I am looking at the travelodge thats like 1 mile from campus but i dont know if its bad/good area ... i mean it could be a hooker motel for all i know.</p>

<p>My department counselors didn't show up.</p>
<p>The academic counselor is a student who had a week of training.</p>
<p>Workshops lead by students.</p>
<p>Two hours of intro speech which will not really help anyone.</p>

<p>It was actually pretty helpful because the entire engineering department and curriculum was revamped for the fall and my counselors were pretty cool....</p>
<p>the food was yummy.....kinda wish I lived in the dorms</p>
<p>oh and the chicks were not that hot...most of them pretty ugly and it felt more like HS than college. </p>

<p>yummy food? Maybe if u're a vegetarian. Nothing that comes close to natural meat. They had cold hamburgers w/ patty meat. And hotdogs. Two of the foods that no nutritionist will recommend. Plenty of salads and nice dessert though.</p>
